Our food bank is designed to provide the community of Gaston, and our church body with food in times of hardship. It is open every Thursday from 5:00—7:00pm. There are three ways you can help with this ministry; volunteers are always accepted for helping run the food bank on Thursdays as well as picking up food from our food bank location in Hillsboro, and donating food itself. Every month we put a “featured food” item in the bulletin for donations. The Oregon Food Bank collection bin in located by the back door of the sanctuary for drop off. If every family brings one item each month we could make a huge dent in hunger.
